What beautiful girls!!! Thanks for inviting me to your home to photograph the little girls. What a treat!

Lauren posed away for me, while Kennedy just wanted to scoot on her butt. Thanks to mom and dad we were able to get the littlest princess to sit still a few times. Go teamwork!

Love the shots in the bedroom where big sister is reading to a, for a little moment, very interested little sister. Such sweet girls!

Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy!

Every now and then people drop off some old images hoping I can do something to restore them. I can honestly say it is a joy to work on someone’s old family photo. There are memories of great times, styles, funny hair, cool toys and sooo much more. I know that “way back” a photo was so much more important that it seems today. Not that it isn’t important to photograph our families today…not even close! It’s still VERY important. What has changed is that most often people took the time to do it right. Now, it seems like no one cares if people look at them or how they are sitting or standing. A quick blurry snapshot seems sufficient for many people. Because of price, perhaps, a photograph wasn’t just something that was randomly done here and there “back when”. It may also be the one thing you have to remember your family by.

There are so many things added together that makes this an enjoyable, although TEDIOUS, job. Bring it on people! I will carefully restore your fun memories captured by someone…a long time ago.

A few weeks ago we had such amazing fall weather. My sister-in-law and her family invited me to come to their house to do family pictures. We went out in their beautiful burr oak woods…picked some flowers…climbed their tree fort…and ended up on the basketball court…um ripstick court…no…skateboard…you get the picture!

Standing still was not an option, but I still think we got some fun stuff! Thanks for letting me follow you with my camera! Enjoy!

Here are the two ideas I came up with for a thank you card for Joachim.

Earlier this summer I did some photos for Lisa of her kids’ Converse. It turned out really fun and is now hanging in her entry way. I will get a shot of the actual work on her wall as well.

Thanks for giving me such a fun project Lisa!

Enjoy!

We had a beautiful day, fun backgrounds and a great time! Thanks for doing just one more pose for me!

We toured around Spring Grove and took advantage of all the stuff around us. Could have worked another week straight, but I suppose I have to save some of it for later.

I’ve had some great weddings this summer. Abby & Dexter’s was no exception!

The bride and her ladies had fun at Studio 44…which is conveniently located…right next to my house! Tara did a great job on all their locks and I did cover some of it. A little later I met up with the party at St Mary’s in Caledonia. Beautiful dresses and flowers and fun people!

After the ceremony the wedding party had rented a bus to take them to Club Pyramid in Decorah. I had hoped we would catch some of the sunset and asked the driver to follow me. We barely made it, but got enough to get some fun shots. Thanks for hustling guys!

I am very excited to announce that I now have some more fun products to choose from. A lot of you will recognize the Small Messenger Bag with the image of my kids. TOTALLY LOVE – LOVE – LOVE this one! It fits my checkbook, my purse, a pen, lipstick, chapstick and some gum easy…without looking bulky. I can also slip my cell phone in the open back pocket and have my hands free. It just rocks!

These are great as gifts…or just fun for yourself.

Beautiful, colorful and fun! Cloudy…then absolutely beautiful…then…during the ceremony…it must have rained hippopotamuses and elephants…it was crazy! It was a beautiful wedding and a lot of beautiful people. Congratulations guys!

I started my day at the grooms house…a slightly jittery groom getting ready…then all smiles! Jeremiah just beamed all day.

Brandi had a slightly untraditional dress…in the sense that it was kind of a champagne color. Was it ever beautiful! Next to the fall-orange bridesmaids dresses the colors were really awesome! Fun factor…had to be the flowers! Loved the bold, but simple statement with the sun flowers. Of course Brandi had a really beautiful bouquet of red roses with pearls.

One of the bridesmaids had gotten a hold of a clear umbrella because of the rain and was hoping we could get a shot of them kissing. Mmmmmm…Thank you! Love it when other people have thoughts about the couple and what might be a cute idea for a shot.

This sweet couple kept laughing, joking and just having fun. For their wedding the weather was even fun to work with. Sunny skies all day, ending with the most beautiful sunset!

The wedding party was just as fun to work with. We made a couple of stops from the church to the reception and everyone had a fun time. When I left the reception the DJ was rockin’ and so was the party.

Here are some of my favorite images from that day. Enjoy!
