This time it was a play I hadn’t seen before I shot, but I read a synopsis before and that was very helpful. The actors are so good at what they do and put a lot of effort into every scene. What a fun place! Here are some of the shots.

We’re down at the dock, the kids are playing around. Theodor asks me to take a picture of him jumping. Sure, let’s see it. Then! Hey, is my little angel is up to a dirty trick? Sure enough. Jakob puts the little crab he just found in his cousins hair. Here’s how it went down.

Watch Theodor jump high.

Watch sneaky cousin Jakob put a little crab in Theodor’s hair.

Watch Jakob walk away like nothing happened.

Watch Jakob play innocent. Not very convincing my dear son. Poor Theodor is left with a little crab tangled in his hear.

Watch Jakob run back to help his poor cousin.

Watch Jakob pretend he’s looking for the crab in Theodor’s hair.

Watch Theodor doubtful when Jakob says: “I don’t know how that crab landed in your hair???”

Watch Theodor bravely get ready for another jump. That darn cousin!!!

Watch Theodor have fun jumping off the dock. I’m sure payback will come to Jakob soon enough.

My Dad lives on a small island south of Bergen, Norway. I always refer to it as “my Dad’s island”. It is small and he lives at the very end of the road.

The day of the wedding I stayed up all night before tucking in at 6:30am!! An hour or two before that I watched the sun rising and shining on the mountains, giving off a very special glow. There were a few others with me that watched the same amazing view. I think we were all breathless. That image is photographed in my mind – forever! I will add some of my nature images later.

Here are some shots of my nephew and my kids playing. They played non-stop all day, every day we were there. I wish I had some of that energy.  : )

I swear! These kids can out-jump any adult! They never tire of doing flips and games.

Jakob running.

Theodor going up.

Theodor coming down.

Jakob and Theodor doing their cool dude show.

Stine wanted to join in on the fun.

Quick! It’s gonna rain. Let’s go home!

These boys ate like there was no tomorrow. Finally!  : )

Maria finishing off the day by sending her friend Mariah an email.

Congratulations Tonje & Nikke! Your wedding was beautiful and so were you.

The weather was cold and rainy almost the whole time since we got here. The tent you ordered came almost two days late and things started to get hectic. Your wonderful staff and friends came to help put everything together. We had a great time and it turned out to be a fun three days. Friday was kicked off with a gathering of all the friends and family that came to stay here on the island. Freddan and Natalie ++ cooked up the most wonderful clam and fish soup. Mmmmmm!!! We all had a wonderful time. Nikke & Krille played guitar and sang and the atmosphere was great!

We all awoke Saturday morning to the most beautiful weather. Everyone were amazed. The ceremony was beautiful followed by baptism for little Tindra Synnøve. Krille was the sponsor and I was the godmother.

We left the church and took a few pictures. Then all the guests were instructed to “hurry” back to the farm for the dinner. Not many knew that Tonje and Nikke had arranged for a helicopter to come and pick them up and make a great entrance at the farm. There were three seats, plus the female pilot, and I got to come along. Thank you, thank you, thank you! It was an amazing, did I say AMAZING, trip. We flew to the farm, but not everyone had gotten there yet so we circled the island and got a breathtaking view of it. Then the whole party were waiting and waiving as we came in to land down in the lower part of the field. As the bride and groom got out of the helicopter all the kids came running down the hill to greet them. It was a spectacular sight. Just like a movie. My dad came with the fourwheeler and Nikke and Tonje with three little boys drove up to the tent. Everything was perfect! The food was absolutely wonderful. Grilled whole lamb and pig.

Tonje left with the computer I could add photos to my blog with. I will post pictures when I get back to Spring Grove.
