A few weeks back I had this sweet family over for a family portrait. I do most of my portraits outside, but we decided to stay inside because of the little prince. How sweet was he! Of course it’s always quite the challenge with those little ones. The prince needed to eat and then after at least two more feedings was ready for a close-up. It was too funny! I guess he slept like a king after we were all done. Thanks for being so patient mom and dad!
Here are some of my favorite images! Enjoy!
Another fun session in Spring Grove. I met Peter at Ellingson Elevator where his dad works. We did a few shots in and around the elevator. The light was just fantastic!
Then we went over by the plant in town, Northern Engraving. It is an older building with really cool features. Finishing up by the old swimming pool. There are so many sweet backgrounds in and around town!
Thanks for being so fun to work with Peter! Enjoy some of my favorites.
I traveled to Trempeleau WI to do senior portraits for Jeremy. He lives on a dairy farm with his family and there were lots of fun backgrounds to pick from. I think we got a big variety of images and angles. I had a fun time and could probably have spent a whole week playing around with all the old buildings. Mom kept repeating how she never would have thought of this or that for a background. Lots of laughs! It was hard to put the camera down.
Here are a few of my favorites from that day! Enjoy!
Three years ago I did senior pictures for one of Lucas’ older sisters, Karli. We had a fun time and mom mentioned her son and more senior pictures in a few years. Well, that day happened last Saturday. After days with rain lucked out with a nice dry day.
We started out with Elroy the dog. The house is surrounded with farmland and even some farm buildings. Needless to say, it was not hard to find fun places for pictures. With finished down on the highway and had a fun time. What a sweet family!
Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy!
Last year my good friend wanted me to take some shots of her kids. Wouldn’t you know it…Dane either got his face scratched up or decided he needed a haircut…all by himself. Ha ha ha…kids are just fun! Well, last summer came and went. Finally, this year we made it work!
The girls were excited and Dane thought, after one or two shots,…hey this was easy…now I’m done…let’s play! Not so fast buddy! He was a trooper and we did a bunch more. After all the shots we all went on a little relaxing trip down the valley. Just wishing summer wouldn’t be all over so soon!
Here are some of the shots of these wonderful, beautiful kids…that I get to hang out with often. Enjoy!
I had the pleasure of capturing Ian for his senior portraits today. Did we ever have fun. Mom came along and made things fun…later to be followed by his siter, Lexi. Too bad you missed it brother Jordan…we had a spot for you…next time!
On our way out out of town, heading for the farm, I pulled over and took full advantage of the overcast skies. The grain elevator in town have these new (relatively) grain bins that I’ve been eying up every time I’ve driven by. I was pretty exstatic to finally get to do a shoot there. As always, I took one shot, then another…I have to learn when to stop…but hey, I was having too much fun…we all did.
Here are a few from our shoot…alright, it’s quite a few… : )
Enjoy!
What a handsome little 6 month old boy! He had just woke up and while enjoying a dairy drink he was just smiling and talking up a storm. Those little ones sure have the sweetest sounds! He grinned and smiled and drooled non-stop for his mom and me.
Jacoby’s house is right next door to a golf course, so we headed for the “back yard”.
Check out the first couple of teeth in that sweet face.
After a little while big brother Jackson showed up and brought his big-boy tractor. Jacoby was pretty much done with the shoot right then…he’d rather check out the tractor. Well, I tried to squeeze in one more that I had envisioned as I got to his house initially. It just wasn’t happening though… Jacoby had had enough…it was time to explore instead. Oh well, what can you do…just love them. : )
Here are a few. Enjoy!
My sister’s baby came early and my baby came late, as all three of my kids did. Instead of being two months apart, our boys are one month and one day apart. I should really dig out a shot from their first birthday, they were so cute…with a cherry on top! Matching green shirts with a frog and a party hat…it was quite a sight!
Well, today is Theodor’s birthday…six years old…wow! What happened? These boys are now scootering, riding motorcycles, diving, doing flips on the trampoline and know how to run ANY Wii or Playstation game. I am actually okay with it though. What I have enjoyed with all my kids are the different stages they go through…and at the end of the day they all still love to snuggle. Mmmm…enjoying it while I can!
After the kids came home from their summer activities, basketball and cupcake decorating (posting stuff later), we got on the computer to Skype Theodor and sing him the “Happy Birthday” song. Luckily they were all home and our kids had a fun time visiting via Skype. He had just received the letter we sent last week with cards from each of our kids, and one from Stine’s friend Grace, plus a bunch of Diego band-aids.
Here is a cute shot of my oldest daughter visiting with Theodor, his baby sister and my sister. Plus a cute curious friend in the background. Thanks to Skype we get to see and speak to my family at the same time, for FREE. Lovin it!
