Thank you so much for letting me do your senior photos! What a handsome young man!

I had such a blast with you and your mom! Also, thanks for putting up with me and my…just one more over here.

We used the nice backgrounds that the city provided for us. Love using rough and rusty things I find along the way! We also headed down to a pond and a barn below my house. Turned out pretty cool!

Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

What a treat! On a cool fall day I drove up and down and around the bend. To find this beautiful family and even Senior Pictures for a German Exchange Student! There was beauty, a mini guitar, chickens, horses and lots of grass.

Thank you so much for inviting me down to do your family portraits! I had such a fun time!

Lisa told me she wanted some images of her family…hey…Blake…we missed you!!!…walking in a field. The day we had picked was hot, but also beautiful. I brought them to one of my in-laws’ fields. Two days later the hay was cut…great timing!

Kennedy kept us laughing with all her fun comments and looking totally in another direction. Thanks for walking with me and making it great!!

Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy!

Last weekend these sweet girls came out to my house and we did a bunch of fun shots. The weather was awesome…with a small exception of all the bugs that came out as we went down in the valley.

The girls had lots of different outfits and we had a great time. I think these turned out really cool!

Check out some of my favorites. Enjoy!

Love, love, love shooting seniors!!! I met Troy and his mom close to town where I had our first round of shots planned. They thought I meant something else, plus they had found this awesome old trailer full of stuff as well as all these old trucks and junk. Needless to say…my original plan changed. Gotta love old junk!

The weather was absolutely amazing and a slight overcast for most of the shots made this just sweet!

We jazzed up some of the shots with Troy’s guitar and later his skateboard. Love it when the images have a personal touch to show what the person is all about. Super cool!

Our time flew by fast, but I think we captured some fun images. Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy!

Earlier this fall I did pictures of two sweet brothers; Jackson and Jacoby. When I pulled up I had envisioned them sitting in front of the house…did a bunch of pictures…and by the time we got around to my idea…the boys were done. I came back to get just that one shot and think it turned out super sweet. It ended up on the Christmas card I made for the family. I will show some cards in my next post.

The house picture and another favorite were both worked to look a little more artsy. I can’t wait to see how the second one will look on the wall!

Enjoy!

What a handsome little 6 month old boy! He had just woke up and while enjoying a dairy drink he was just smiling and talking up a storm. Those little ones sure have the sweetest sounds! He grinned and smiled and drooled non-stop for his mom and me.

Jacoby’s house is right next door to a golf course, so we headed for the “back yard”.

Check out the first couple of teeth in that sweet face.

After a little while big brother Jackson showed up and brought his big-boy tractor. Jacoby was pretty much done with the shoot right then…he’d rather check out the tractor. Well, I tried to squeeze in one more that I had envisioned as I got to his house initially. It just wasn’t happening though… Jacoby had had enough…it was time to explore instead. Oh well, what can you do…just love them.  : )

Here are a few. Enjoy!

It was one of those days…you know the sun is shining and you just can’t stand it any longer…sitting inside, that is. Back in early April I went for a walk below my house and took my camera along. I had initially planned on walking to the old farm and back, nothing major. Actually that was exactly what I did…but I was gone for about three hours. It was a blast! It was a little chilly, but the sun warmed just enough to not get cold. I shot the cat, no…not literally, some dried-up flowers, well…weeds probably, old farm machinery and an old house. I could go back today and get totally different images.

Here are a few of my shots from that day! It seems like ages ago. I have actually worn shorts since then…and the grass is green! Yikes! I’ll have to go on another walk.  : ) Enjoy!

Jordy had fun chasing B-Cat and trying to lean on me when I got down close to the ground to get a good shot.

Who knew thistles could look this lovely when they were dead?!

Last night I finished off the session for Chris with a shot at the football field with him dressed to play. We only needed one shot…I think we did good.

I think he’s got his game “face” on. Enjoy!

…is what we wish for you this Holiday Season.

I put together a beautiful Christmas card for Kenny with her words. On the front is a shot of her daughter that just looked, well, heavenly. After putting the card together she also asked me to make an 8×10 of the same shot, but to make it different, just for Libby. Here are some of my ideas.

The idea for the butterfly illustrations were taken from the actual designs on the bottom of Libby’s dress.

Here again, details from her dress.

Here is the Christmas card. A 7×5 folded, printet on watercolor paper.

Thanks for letting me photograph your beautiful family! My treat, for sure!  : )
