Thank you so much for letting me do your senior photos! What a handsome young man!

I had such a blast with you and your mom! Also, thanks for putting up with me and my…just one more over here.

We used the nice backgrounds that the city provided for us. Love using rough and rusty things I find along the way! We also headed down to a pond and a barn below my house. Turned out pretty cool!

Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

We did photos around Kelley’s house and downtown Lanesboro. Man did we hit the jackpot! Lots of great spots for shooting! Thanks Gayle for bringing clothes and just being fun!

Check out the phonebooth they suggested! Totally awesome! Not too many of those left.

Also, fun seniors to work with!!! Love this stuff! Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

I’ve had some great weddings this summer. Abby & Dexter’s was no exception!

The bride and her ladies had fun at Studio 44…which is conveniently located…right next to my house! Tara did a great job on all their locks and I did cover some of it. A little later I met up with the party at St Mary’s in Caledonia. Beautiful dresses and flowers and fun people!

After the ceremony the wedding party had rented a bus to take them to Club Pyramid in Decorah. I had hoped we would catch some of the sunset and asked the driver to follow me. We barely made it, but got enough to get some fun shots. Thanks for hustling guys!

Here are some of my favorite shots. Enjoy!

Last weekend these sweet girls came out to my house and we did a bunch of fun shots. The weather was awesome…with a small exception of all the bugs that came out as we went down in the valley.

The girls had lots of different outfits and we had a great time. I think these turned out really cool!

Check out some of my favorites. Enjoy!

Last year my good friend wanted me to take some shots of her kids. Wouldn’t you know it…Dane either got his face scratched up or decided he needed a haircut…all by himself. Ha ha ha…kids are just fun! Well, last summer came and went. Finally, this year we made it work!

The girls were excited and Dane thought, after one or two shots,…hey this was easy…now I’m done…let’s play! Not so fast buddy! He was a trooper and we did a bunch more. After all the shots we all went on a little relaxing trip down the valley. Just wishing summer wouldn’t be all over so soon!

Here are some of the shots of these wonderful, beautiful kids…that I get to hang out with often. Enjoy!

Last week I went to the classy and elegant Grand Hotel Minneapolis in downtown Minneapolis to do some Boudoir shots. Thanks to Chris Meyer for organizing the shoot. Other photographers were: Tamrah Ryan, Sara Weitzel, Tom Ward and Nick & Hillary.

Images like these are great for a very special gift to that certain someone or even fun to have for yourself.

Here are some of my favorite shots of Aly. Enjoy!

A little while back I worked on a project where I had to produce a movie poster, featuring ME. Yikes! I really don’t like being in front of the camera, but hey, those where the rules. I fairly quickly pictured in my mind what I wanted on the poster.

One day after the kids came home from school I quickly put my dress on from my sisters wedding, my biker boots and at least two inches of make-up. My kids stared at me when I got out of the bathroom and started giggling at me. Don’t laugh I said, grab my tripod and get in the car.

We went down to the farm and I set up a few shots by an old car and a tractor. The whole time I had this old truck in mind and in the end it is what ended up working. The kids got busy chasing down the dog and so I lost my “photographers” right away. It is a little hard running back and forth to hit the timer and then compose yourself so I told the girls they had to take turns being my photographers. Stine just smiled and kept firing shot after shot. When it was Maria’s turn she got a small step stool, looked carefully through the viewfinder and made sure Mamma was ready. It was so cute. She’d actually tell me what looked good and what didn’t. Quite an eye there.

Well, after a ton of shots in not very much time I decided on this one. When I sat down to make it into a poster I remembered the highway picture and the airplane shots I had as well and it quickly became a collage. Let me know what you think.  ; )

Here is another poster. Again, I had the image in my mind. Shot the dice and Maria was again appointed photographer. She laughed as I made all these funny faces. It is amazingly hard to imagine what it looks like unless you’re behind the camera. I know that’s where I belong, but it is helpful knowing the feeling of how much good direction makes a difference. I think it turned out quite cool. Let me know what you think.

We’re down at the dock, the kids are playing around. Theodor asks me to take a picture of him jumping. Sure, let’s see it. Then! Hey, is my little angel is up to a dirty trick? Sure enough. Jakob puts the little crab he just found in his cousins hair. Here’s how it went down.

Watch Theodor jump high.

Watch sneaky cousin Jakob put a little crab in Theodor’s hair.

Watch Jakob walk away like nothing happened.

Watch Jakob play innocent. Not very convincing my dear son. Poor Theodor is left with a little crab tangled in his hear.

Watch Jakob run back to help his poor cousin.

Watch Jakob pretend he’s looking for the crab in Theodor’s hair.

Watch Theodor doubtful when Jakob says: “I don’t know how that crab landed in your hair???”

Watch Theodor bravely get ready for another jump. That darn cousin!!!

Watch Theodor have fun jumping off the dock. I’m sure payback will come to Jakob soon enough.

Tonje went to the hairdresser to do a trial run for her hair. We had fun with Hanne, the hairdresser. Tonje will guaranteed look beautifuler. : )

We have had rain, rain and more rain. Please, someone make it stop – soon!!!
Today was actually a little warmer and we were hoping to see the sun…but then as soon as I took the kids down the road on the scooters, the rain came down, again.
This is just a rough idea of what it will look like.
…adding the veil. Magical!
The guys went out fishing and set out a crab trap. The next morning there were three crabs. They were cooked up and gone in not too long.
Tonje had not seen what the kids were wearing so we had to do a little dress rehearsal for her. They rocked around the living room and were very excited to be wearing all the fancy clothes.
When the boys started rolling around on the floor we decided it was time to take the party clothes off.
We got a little ways down the road to the waterfall. The big waterfall was actually empty when we got here so I guess we must have brought the rain.
