Late last fall this wonderful couple took me to the Science Building at Luther College for their engagement session. The building was just amazing! We had a fun time rearranging furniture and quietly walking through the library. Thanks for such a great place for your session!
Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy!
It was a blustery cool afternoon when we headed to Decorah (IA) to finally get the annual family photos done. There are so many cool backgrounds in that town and it makes it really fun to shoot. The only thing that was a little hard, was the fact that the wind was so cool that it was hard to get comfortable. The kids were troupers and we still got lots of fun shots. Thanks guys!
Grandma & Grandpa joined in for some of the shots. What sweet people! I see where Mom gets her good looks!
After the Christmas card was finished, Mom decided she wanted to do something different this year. Love the idea of a photo of the kids on an actual stamp!! GO MOM! Check out the very first image. Cool idea!
I have so many favorites…and here are some of them. Enjoy!
I had a conversation about the river and specifically the bridge in Lansing (IA) last week. While looking through some commercial images I happened to come across this one. I stopped right before the bridge, rolled down my window and leaned waaay out the window. I just love the lines and the contrast. I might just have to go back and make a project of it…let’s see how many angles I can find : )
Enjoy!
Amy and Tim have a wonderful connection to each other and their family. It was a fun Saturday and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. A little excitement when the ceremony was about to start…and no one came. It turned out that one of the groomsmen’s pants had split in the seams and a needle and thread was needed for him to be able to make it down the isle. Kathy, the organist, played a few extra songs and after a little wait the ceremony could begin. Here are a few shots from that day.
