Sunday turned out to be a perfect day for senior photos. Kailee brought all kinds of fun things to work with. Here are a few of my many favorites. Enjoy!

What an amazing day…and such a beaming beautiful couple! Kari and Dan were relaxed and had the look of total joy. I felt really honored to be a part of their day.

The wedding party were a great bunch as well. Even made sure I had water and something to eat. Thanks guys!

Hair was done by Tara at Studio 44 and flowers were done by Cristi Schulte at a Gift to Gab

Here are some of my favorite shots from that day. Enjoy!

Hope your Friday is as sweet as mine!

This amazing couple just got married! Thank you soooooo much for inviting me to share this sweet day with you!!!

Berwood Hills Inn is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast a little south of Lanesboro, Minnesota. It has a beautiful lawn area, just perfect for a garden wedding. The inside of the house would be sweet to get detailed pictures of, it is just beautiful. I’ll leave that for another day.

The afternoon was filled with joy, smiles, laughs…even a few tears. It was simply a breathtaking event. Lots of wishes of continued happiness…forever and ever.

Here are some of my favorite shots. Enjoy!

Just came across these images that I took a few years ago. It was before my blogging days, but I think they turned out so fun that I want to share them.

The location is Lake City. Boy did we have fun!

I have to admit I was actually a little scared when we were shooting on this old train. A looooong freight train came through, we were in the middle of a bunch of tracks and stayed there. The train blew the whistle, the ground shook and it was very uncomfortable being just one track away from such a massive machine. Needless to say, everything went well, but we were all just a little shaken afterward. However…would I do it again…most definitely!!!

Check out the images of this sweet girl! Enjoy

Earlier this fall I did pictures of two sweet brothers; Jackson and Jacoby. When I pulled up I had envisioned them sitting in front of the house…did a bunch of pictures…and by the time we got around to my idea…the boys were done. I came back to get just that one shot and think it turned out super sweet. It ended up on the Christmas card I made for the family. I will show some cards in my next post.

The house picture and another favorite were both worked to look a little more artsy. I can’t wait to see how the second one will look on the wall!

Enjoy!

Last night I finished off the session for Chris with a shot at the football field with him dressed to play. We only needed one shot…I think we did good.

I think he’s got his game “face” on. Enjoy!

The last play of the year: A Christmas Carol. Once again I drove to Lanesboro to do a production shoot for the Commonweal Theatre. It is always a pleasure to see the actors do their work. They never fail to amaze me!

My whole family were supposed to join me, but some last minute issues came up and I went alone. As I entered the theatre I ran into my husband’s cousin, her husband and their kids. For this production they had set up the stage to be in the center with seating all around.  We purposely sat on the stage side and had a terrific view. I am sure all the sides were just as great though. I noticed very quickly that the challenge with this shoot would be the overall darkness and absolutely no backdrops. I think it turned out very well.

The play also featured two very young actors who played their parts extremely well. Actually, I was told that there are five kids that take turns playing the two parts. What a joy to watch!

Enjoy some of the shots!

What a fun shoot! First we did some traditional shots inside. Then we walked the back streets of Spring Grove and had some fun. Thanks for helping Jody!

What struck me the most about Zach was how happy his eyes looked. Easy going and agreed to everything I suggested. A great guy, inside and out! Here are some of my favorite shots.

What a beautiful day for this outdoors wedding at Macal Golf Course! After the ceremony on the tea-off for hole one the bridal party took a great blue bus to Spring Grove because of a detour. After a quick water break they went on to Eitzen and the newly remodeled community center. Check out some of the images below.
