What beautiful girls!!! Thanks for inviting me to your home to photograph the little girls. What a treat!

Lauren posed away for me, while Kennedy just wanted to scoot on her butt. Thanks to mom and dad we were able to get the littlest princess to sit still a few times. Go teamwork!

Love the shots in the bedroom where big sister is reading to a, for a little moment, very interested little sister. Such sweet girls!

Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy!

This couple actually got married a year ago…in Norway! I knew they would come dressed in their bunads. Man, did they ever look stylish! Carolyn even re-created her wedding bouquet. They looked really nice! With the waterfall in the background it looked like it could just as well have been shot in Norway. We lucked out with some cooler weather, otherwise the wool outfits would have been totally awful to wear.

Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy!

These small books are so awesome!

I have one with my own kids in my purse. The covers stick together with a magical magnetic force. LOVE the stylish brown leather cover. It is pretty awesome!

I made these two minibooks a while back, but I just wanted to show off how the clean design makes these so special. People that see these are ALWAYS impressed!

First up…Libby, Gabe & Pauly. Enjoy!

Next…sweet Fletcher. Enjoy!

These two brothers were such a treat to photograph!!!

I went to their farm and we found all kinds of great spots around their house. Some weeds, a little cement, a dark cave of a barn, a pumphouse, the barnbridge, the silo…and finally I said. Whew! Is there any other place you’d like to take pictures? Of course Reid had one…the swing…off we went…and snapped a few more. Gotta LOVE it!

These boys were amazing! No fuss…just awesomeness! Thanks boys!

Here are some of my many favorite shots! Enjoy!

Another fun session in Spring Grove. I met Peter at Ellingson Elevator where his dad works. We did a few shots in and around the elevator. The light was just fantastic!

Then we went over by the plant in town, Northern Engraving. It is an older building with really cool features. Finishing up by the old swimming pool. There are so many sweet backgrounds in and around town!

Thanks for being so fun to work with Peter! Enjoy some of my favorites.

Libby and her mom came over earlier this afternoon to take a few shots of her in her mom’s dress. Yes! Her mom actually saved the very dress she had worn as a little girl. She even brought along a picture to show. A beautiful red velvet dress. What a treasure!

Good thing her mom didn’t wait a minute longer to do these pictures. I think Libby outgrew it while we were taking the pictures!

It’s cute to see how much she looks like her mom next to the picture of her from when she was a little girl.

Looking for princesses…or maybe a prince?

Too cute!

How adorable! Mother and daughter…wearing the same red velvet dress…sweet!

Some more cards…

Yes, I use a lot of the same templates…designed by me…but I don’t just drop in a picture and leave it at that. Every card will be modified to fit the image it goes with or totally reworked. Often times I just create new ideas.

Have I mentioned before that I totally LOVE doing this? In case you’re wondering…I TOTALLY LOVE THIS!

The first, square ones, are designed to be printed as 5×5’s on watercolor paper. The rest as photographic prints.

A little while back I went back to photograph Joey and Theron’s baby sister. She is so sweet…rolls and all! What a fun bunch they are! The boys were very excited to get their picture taken, but Theron thought one was good…DONE! Not so fast Mister! I did some more of the princess and worked my way back to him. Joey…well, what a card! He made all the funny faces in the book…and then some. In the end we got some sweet stuff. Thanks guys!

Here are some of my favorite shots. Enjoy!

One of the things I just LOVE doing…is coming up with ideas for cards. Here are some of the ideas for this years Christmas card for one of my clients.

Enjoy!

Earlier this fall I did pictures of two sweet brothers; Jackson and Jacoby. When I pulled up I had envisioned them sitting in front of the house…did a bunch of pictures…and by the time we got around to my idea…the boys were done. I came back to get just that one shot and think it turned out super sweet. It ended up on the Christmas card I made for the family. I will show some cards in my next post.

The house picture and another favorite were both worked to look a little more artsy. I can’t wait to see how the second one will look on the wall!

Enjoy!
